Things to Consider
With many kinds of tile, it is important to consider the use of the area where you are putting the tile, such as how much traffic the area will get and how much moisture there is. For high traffic areas, you should consider the hardness of the tile to give you an idea of how well it will withstand foot traffic and general wear and tear. For areas with a lot of moisture you should consider the porosity and slipperiness of the tile.
Types of Tile
There are many different types, styles, shapes, and colors of tile. The majority of tile we work with is ceramic, porcelain, slate, or stone.
