Assistant Spray Foam Crew Member
Viking is in search of a motivated individual to join the Viking Installed Insulation crew. Qualified individual must be reliable, work well as a team, and have a positive attitude. Duties include but are not limited to helping set up equipment at jobsites, prepare the job for insulation, assisting in the install of insulation, and cleaning the jobsite after installation. The crew primarily works with blown-in fiberglass insulation and spray foam. This position is Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm. However, a flexible schedule is a plus in order to work the occasional Saturday and longer work days when required by certain jobs.
Viking is currently seeking a Yard Person for our Belfast location. Duties include pulling load lists, building loads for delivery, loading/unloading trucks, assisting customers in the yard, keeping the warehouse neat and organized, putting away product, and the occasional delivery of materials from the lumberyard to job sites. Must have exceptional customer service skills, a positive attitude, and be a team player. Qualified applicants must have a clean driving record. Prior lumber and building material knowledge is a plus but not required. This position is 40+ hours per week, plus rotational Saturdays from 7am to 12pm.
Inside/Outside Contractor Sales Representative
Seeking an Inside/Outside Contractor Sales Representative for our Blue Hill location. Qualified applicant must have a minimum of 5 years sales experience with extensive lumber and building materials knowledge. Applicant must have excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, be a team player, and have the ability to develop relationships to establish long-term customers. This is a full time 40+ hour per week position with rotational Saturdays from 7am to 12pm.
Viking is currently seeking a talented Branch Manager for our Blue Hill store to handle daily operations. Successful candidate will have strong communication, organization, and sales skills. Duties include but are not limited to inside sales, inventory control, customer satisfaction management, and management of personnel. Applicant must have extensive knowledge and experience in the lumber and building material industry.
Inside Sales/Outside Sales Support
We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative with lumber and building material experience for our Damariscotta office. Qualified applicant must have exceptional customer service skills, have a positive attitude, and be a team player. Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering the phone, helping customers in order to develop lasting relationships, and working with and providing support to the current Outside Sales Representative. This is a full time Monday through Friday position.
Kitchen & Bath Design Specialist
Viking is currently seeking a Kitchen & Bath Design Specialist for our Holden location. The qualified candidate is responsible for working with clients from start to finish on their kitchen, bath, or flooring project. This includes but is not limited to designing projects with 20/20 design software, measuring for cabinets on jobsites, helping with product selection, and effectively communicating with the customer and fellow coworkers. Applicant must have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience, have excellent customer service skills, and have the ability to work as a team or individually.
We are seeking a CDL driver for our Machias location. Qualified applicant must have a valid class B license with a clean driving record. Candidate is responsible for delivery of materials from the lumberyard to jobsites. Other duties include: pulling load lists, building loads for delivery, loading/unloading trucks, and other duties as assigned. Must have exceptional customer service skills, possess a positive attitude, and be a team player. This position is 40+ hours per week, plus Saturday rotations from 7am to 12pm.
