Blue Hill

Inside/Outside Contractor Sales Representative

Seeking an Inside/Outside Contractor Sales Representative for our Blue Hill location. Qualified applicant must have a minimum of 5 years sales experience with extensive lumber and building materials knowledge. Applicant must have excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, be a team player, and have the ability to develop relationships to establish long-term customers. This is a full time 40+ hour per week position with rotational Saturdays from 7am to 12pm. 

Manager

Viking is currently seeking a talented Branch Manager for our Blue Hill store to handle daily operations. Successful candidate will have strong communication, organization, and sales skills. Duties include but are not limited to inside sales, inventory control, customer satisfaction management, and management of personnel. Applicant must have extensive knowledge and experience in the lumber and building material industry.

Yard Person

Viking is currently seeking a Yard Person for our Blue Hill location. Duties include pulling load lists, building loads for delivery, loading/unloading trucks, assisting customers in the yard, keeping the warehouse neat and organized, putting away product, and the occasional delivery of materials from the lumberyard to job sites. Must have exceptional customer service skills, a positive attitude, and be a team player. Qualified applicants must have a clean driving record. Prior lumber and building material knowledge is a plus but not required. This position requires heavy lifting and is exposed to inclement weather. Position is subject to pre-employment drug screening and Fit for duty testing. This position is 40+ hours per week, plus rotational Saturdays from 7am to 12pm.

Hancock

Inside/Outside Sales Representative

Holden

Inside Sales/Merchandiser

Viking is currently seeking an Inside Sales Person / Merchandiser. Primary responsibilities include processing sales orders, assisting customers, maintaining inventory by restocking shelves with product, tidying store shelves, providing optimum display of products, and refreshing and setting up displays and end  caps for special promotions and seasonal products. Individual will work closely with the purchaser and store manager to help plan stock levels and monitor performance of products. Qualified application must have knowledge of building materials and hardware as well as have exceptional customer service skills. Individual must be proficient using the computer. This is a full time year round position Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm with rotational Saturdays from 7:00am to 12:00pm.

Warren

Inside Sales Support

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Support person with lumber and building material experience for our Warren Store. Qualified applicant must have exceptional customer service skills, have a positive attitude, and be a team player. Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering the phone, data entry, entering quotes for Outside Sales Representatives, Scanning, and processing orders for customers in order to develop lasting relationships. Qualified individual would be working with and providing inside support to the current Outside Sales Representatives. Dependable and strong computer skills are a must. Prior building and lumber experience is a plus. Willing to train the right person. This is a full time Monday through Friday position with rotational Saturdays from 7:00am to 12:00pm.
