Belfast

Inside Sales

Seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our Belfast location. Qualified applicant must have exceptional customer service skills, have a positive attitude, and be a team player. Prior experience with lumber and building materials is a plus but not required. Applicant must be bright, personable, and responsive, with the ability to develop lasting relationships with customers and contractors. This is a full time 40+ hour per week position Monday through Friday with rotational Saturdays from 7am to 12pm.

Damariscotta

Inside Sales/Outside Sales Support

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative with lumber and building material experience for our Damariscotta office. Qualified applicant must have exceptional customer service skills, have a positive attitude, and be a team player. Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering the phone, helping customers in order to develop lasting relationships, and working with and providing support to the current Outside Sales Representative. This is a full time Monday through Friday position.

Hancock

Boom Truck Operator

Viking is currently seeking a Boom Truck Operator for our Hancock location. Qualified applicants must have a valid class B license with a clean driving record. The candidate is responsible for delivery of materials from the lumber yard to the jobsite. Other duties include: pulling load lists, building loads for delivery, loading/unloading trucks, and other duties as assigned. Must have exceptional customer service skills, possess a positive attitude, and be a team player. This position is 40+ hours per week, plus Saturday rotations 7am-12pm. 

Yard Person

Viking is currently seeking a Yard Person for our Hancock store. Duties include but are not limited to building loads for delivery, loading/unloading trucks, keeping the warehouses and yard neat and organized, putting away product, assisting customers in the yard, and the occasional delivery of materials from the lumberyard to the job site. Must have exceptional customer service skills, a positive attitude, and be a team player. Qualified applicants must have a clean driving record. Prior lumber and building material knowledge is a plus but not required. This position is 40+ hours per week, plus rotational Saturdays from 7am to 12pm. 

Holden

Inside Sales

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our Holden location. Qualified applicant must have exceptional customer service skills, have a positive attitude, and be a team player. Prior experience with lumber and building materials is plus but not required. Applicant must be bright, personable, and responsive, with the ability to develop relationships with customers and contractors. Viking is currently seeking a Yard Person for our Holden store. Administrative Assistant 

Viking is currently in search of an Administrative Assistant for our Warren location. Qualified applicant must be self-motivated, work well in a team environment, and possess computer skills. Responsibilities include filing, scanning, answering the phone, and other tasks as the position develops. This is a full time 40 hour per week position, plus rotational Saturdays from 7am to 12pm. 

Inside Sales

Viking is currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our Warren location. Qualified applicant must have exceptional customer service skills, have a positive attitude, and be a team player. Prior experience with lumber and building materials is a plus but not required. Applicant must be bright, personable, and responsive, with the ability to develop relationships with customers and contractors. This is a full time position Monday through Friday with rotational Saturdays from 7am to 12pm. 

Part Time Summer Administrative Assistant

Viking is currently in search of summer office help in our Warren location. Duties include filing, scanning, and answering the phone, among several other administrative tasks. Qualified individual must work well in a team environment and possess computer skills with a strong attention to detail. This is a full time 40 hours per week position plus rotational Saturdays throughout the summer.
